Thirty: The Time Is Now!

“Thirty: The Time Is Now!” was published on my 30th birthday – a moment I looked back on my first three decades and reflect on experiences from school, university, my career (including time in consulting and investment banking), as well as personal experiences with family and life more broadly.

The book is mainly aimed at young people (21-35) who feel lost, misunderstood by the education system, or pushed to their limits in high-pressure careers. Beyond professional topics, it also touches on personal lessons – from dealing with burnout and depression to navigating love, friendships, and family.

It is partly a personal reflection and partly a guide, with the goal of helping people see things more clearly and not be misled by unrealistic expectations or societal narratives. The title expresses a simple idea: the right moment to consciously shape your life is now.
